Redescriptions of two leafhopper species from the subgenus Pediopsoides(Glaphyropsis)(Hemiptera:Cicadellidae:Eurymelinae:Macropsini)

Abstract
[Objective]The leafhopper subgenus Pediopsoides(Glaphyropsis)is a small group belonging to the subfamily of Eu-rymelinae(Hemiptera:Cicadellidae).The subgenus is distributed in the Oriental region and includes 5 recorded species in the world,of which 4 are known in China.The 2 species of Pediopsoides(Glaphyropsis)were redescribed in morphology to further clari-fy the species composition.[Method]Based on the morphological examination of specimens,comparative morphology combined with literature research was adopted to dissect the morphology of P.(G.)membrana(Zhang,2010)and P.(G.)trifurcata(Li,Dai&Li,2013)in the subgenus Pediopsoides(Glaphyropsis).[Result]The habitus and male genitalia of 2 species of Pediopsoides(Glaphyropsis)were redescribed with illustrations.In comparison to previous descriptions,there was no difference in the morpholog-ical characteristics of P.(G.)membrana except the slightly different-shaped membranous processes on both lateral margins of aedea-gus;there was also no difference between P.(G.)trifurcata and P.(G.)montaninversa in morphological features except a pair of spine-like membranous processes at the apex of aedeagus.[Conclusion]P.(G.)montaninversa is proposed as a junior synonym of P.(G.)trifurcata.关键词
