太子参酸腐病病原菌白地霉的侵染特性
Infection characteristics of pathogen Geotrichum candidum causing sour rot of Pseudostellaria heterophylla

Abstract
[Objective]The infection characteristics of Geotrichum candidum,a pathogen causing sour rot of Pseudostellaria hetero-phylla,was clarified to provide the basis for the prevention and control of P.heterophylla sour rot.[Method]Artificial inoculation ex-periments were conducted to determine the incidence and disease index of sour rot in P.heterophylla roots inoculated with G.candi-dum under different temperature,pH,light,humidity and tissue wound conditions.Furthermore,microstructure changes of P.het-erophylla root tubers at different disease stages after infection were observed using microscopy.[Result]The optimum temperature and pH for the infection of G.candidum were 28-30℃and pH 6-8;the infection was facilitated when relative humidity was high or root tubers were subjected to tissue trauma;alternate light-dark regime only exerted certain promotive effect at the early stage of in-fection.Moreover,microscopic examination indicated that the infection started with the attachment of G.candidum spores to the sur-face layer of P.heterophylla root tubers for the subsequent germination of bud tubes and mycelia;then G.candidum mycelia penetra-ted through the cell spaces and cell walls to successively invade the cork layer,cortex,phloem and xylem of P.heterophylla root tu-bers from the outside to the inside;finally,dense and meshy mycelia were developed through continuous propagation,which eventu-ally led to the decay and hollowness of whole root tubers by disintegrating the cells of each tissue.[Conclusion]This study elucidated the optimal infection conditions,key pathogenic factors(high humidity and mechanical damage)and dynamic pathogenic procoss of"adhesion-germination-infection-expansion"during the infection of G.candidum towards P.heterophylla tuberous roots,and the cor-responding histopathological changes in P.heterophylla tuberous roots.关键词
