Transmedia Performance Practices in Northern Shaanxi Storytelling:An Example of The Rise of the Yellow Wind from Black Myth:Wukong

Abstract
Unlike the traditional oral improvisation of northern Shaanxi storytelling(Shuoshu),The Rise of the Yellow Wind whose lyrics written by game producer Feng Ji,were revised and set to music by Xiong Zhuying following the traditional style of northern Shaanxi storytelling.This"scholar+performer"collaboration model has,to some extent,transformed the creative process of northern Shaanxi storytelling,establishing a composite narrative structure of"game plot-storytelling performance-player interaction".This cross-media narrative approach bridges the gap between traditional culture and modern gaming,reflecting the reconstruction of traditional oral literature in the digital age and expanding the dissemination channels for northern Shaanxi storytelling.The success of The Rise of the Yellow Wind is also attributed to its widespread circulation on internet platforms,which spurred a wave of fan creations and imitations,further enhancing the influence of northern Shaanxi storytelling and offering new ideas for the inheritance and development of traditional arts.关键词
