Ethical Turn,Language Style and Capability Approach
摘要
Abstract
As a symbol of the ethical turn of literary criticism,Martha Nussbaum and Judith Butler engaged in a synchronic academic confrontation in the aspects of language style and the construction of femi-nist theory.In the external form,the former fiercely criticizes the key concepts and discourse rhetoric of the latter's feminist theory with the"trick of obscurantism";The latter,on the other hand,tries to obtain resis-tant cultural thinking in the"obscure"language experience.In the internal concept,the former defends the public justice based on the"ability approach"and expounds the practical value of feminism.The latter tries to transcend the dilemma of universality with the theoretical paradigm of"cultural transformation".In fact,Nussbaum's criticism of Butler has some misconduct in the exposition of strategies and arguments,which constitutes theoretical blindness.Their differences and dialogues on feminism are of great practical signifi-cance to reflect the development and practice of contemporary feminism.关键词
