Abstract

To address the challenges of accurate reserve allocation and configuration for efficient utilization of renewable energy and secure power system regulation,a multi-source coordinated optimal dispatch considering reserve assessment and N-1 contingency was proposed.The research framework consists of four main components.First,a grid-adjustable reserve assessment model was established,identifying critical load reserve demand scenarios that significantly impact reserve availability.Second,based on the two-stage robust optimization framework,a multi-source generation-reserve coordinated optimization model was developed.The first stage focuses on economic optimization to determine the generation schedule,while the second stage conducts a comprehensive reserve availability assessment considering renewable energy output fluctuations,normal grid conditions,and N-1 contingency scenarios,building upon the optimized generation plan from the first stage.Third,the column and constraint generation(C&CG)algorithm was employed to solve the proposed optimization model.Finally,the effectiveness of the proposed method was validated through case studies on the IEEE 39-bus system.The results demonstrate that the proposed approach achieves optimal reserve allocation and configuration,significantly enhancing the operational optimization capability of modern power systems.
