Abstract

The flow field and heat transfer of multi-link Tesla valves with different island structure sizes are simulated and analyzed by using the three-dimensional k-epsilon turbulence model and the fluid-solid heat transfer model,and the performance related to the island structure of the Tesla valve is evaluated from the perspective of the island structure.The results show that there are significant differences between the forward flow field and the reverse flow field of the Tesla valve.According to the results of the simulation analysis,the proportion of the island structure is less than 1.3,which meets the flow performance.The island structure is larger than 1.2,meeting the heat exchange performance.When the proportion of the island structure is between 1.2 and 1.3,it can meet the required flow performance and heat exchange performance.This research can provide a reference for the in-depth structural optimization design of Tesla valves in different application fields.
