Abstract

Objective:To explore the effect of lower limb exoskeleton robot-assisted ankle joint exercise training on lower limb function and gait parameters in patients with hemiplegia after ischemic stroke.Methods:86 patients with hemiplegia after ischemic stroke who were treated at Beijing Rehabilitation Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University from May 2023 to August 2024 were included.They were divided into the observation group(n=43)and the control group(n=43)using the random number table method.The control group underwent conventional ankle joint exercise training,while the observation group underwent lower-limb exoskeleton robot-assisted ankle joint exercise training.The differences in lower limb function,gait parameters,and satisfaction level before and after rehabilitation training were compared between the two groups of patients.Results:After 12 weeks of training,the scores of Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA)lower limb part,Functional Ambulation Classification Scale(FAC),and Berg Balance Scale(BBS)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the 10MWT completion time was shorter than that of the control group(P<0.05).Parameters such as stride length,walking speed,cadence,and gait symmetry of the observation group were all better than those of the control group(P<0.05),with a higher total satisfaction rate of 97.67%than 88.37%of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Lower limb exoskeleton robot-assisted ankle joint exercise training have significant effects on improving lower limb functions and gait parameters in patients with hemiplegia after ischemic stroke,which is worthy of promotion and application.
