A prediction model for global evaluative assessment of robotic skill based on Da Vinci surgical simulator scores

Abstract
Objective:To analyze the correlation between global evaluative assessment of robotic skills(GEARS)and Da Vinci skill simulator(DVSS)scores,and to develop a prediction model for GEARS scores based on DVSS scoring.Methods:27 participants completed 6 tasks on the DVSS,generating both DVSS and GEARS scores.Linear regression and multivariate predictive models were used to construct a GEARS score prediction model.Results:Significant correlations between DVSS and GEARS evaluation metric were identified.An equation was established to predict total GEARS scores using DVSS scores.Comparisons between linear and multivariate models revealed similar predictive performance for total GEARS scores.Conclusion:Trainers can utilize a linear regression equation derived from DVSS scores to predict total GEARS scores.关键词
