Abstract
Objective:To understand the current situation of alexithymia in stroke patients, and construct a structural equation model based on stress and coping theory to analyze the effect path and effect size of each variable on alexithymia in stroke patients. Methods:Totals of 320 stroke patients from three general hospitals in Jinzhou were selected and investigated with the general information questionnaire,Acceptance of Illness Scale(AIS),Social Relational Quality Scale(SRQS),Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire(MCMQ)and Toronto Alexithymia Scale(TAS-20).IBM SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 26.0 software were used to analyze the data. Results:The alexithymia score of stroke patients was(58.65±9.41).The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that, the independent influencing factors of alexithymia were age, education level, frequency of onset, course of stroke, history of hypertension,NIHSS score at admission, disease acceptance, social relational quality and medical coping style(P<0.05).The results of path analysis showed that disease acceptance, social relational quality and confrontation coping could directly negatively predict alexithymia, avoidance coping and resignation coping could positively predict alexithymia, and disease acceptance and social relational quality could have an indirect effect on alexithymia through different coping styles. The total effects of disease acceptance and social relational quality on alexithymia were-0.391 and-0.557,the direct effects were-0.280 and-0.436,and the total indirect effects were-0.111 and-0.121.Conclusions:Alexithymia of stroke patients is in the upper middle level.Improving patients'acceptance of the disease and increasing the care from family and friends can help patients to adopt mature coping style, and then relieve their alexithymia.关键词
