Research Progress in Hydrothermal Liquefaction of Food Waste to Produce Bio-crude Oil and Its Upgrading

Abstract
In order to systematically and deeply understand the important factors affecting the efficiency of hydrothermal liquefaction of food waste to produce bio-crude oil,as well as the main technical methods for upgrading bio-crude oil.The effects of reaction parameters such as reaction temperature,residence time,solid ratio,catalyst type,solvent type,etc.on the efficiency of hydrothermal liquefaction of food waste to produce bio-crude oil were systematically summarized.In view of the difficulty of bio-crude oil being directly used as transportation fuel,the upgrading technologies of bio-crude oil such as emulsification,distillation,and catalytic hydrodeoxygenation were introduced.On this basis,in view of the technical bottle-necks in the production of bio-crude oil from hydrothermal liquefaction of food waste and its upgrading,the future prospects of the coordinated upgrading of food waste to transportation fuels,such as the development of continuous hydrothermal liquefaction technology for food waste to produce bio-crude oil,technical and economic evaluation of the whole system and full life cycle evaluation,and the development of diversified bio-crude oil upgrading technology solutions,were proposed,which can provide technical reference for the construction of my country's future energy industry.关键词
