Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of personalized rehabilitation program under smart medical mode on postoperative functional recovery and pain control in elderly patients with lumbar disc herniation(LDH).Methods:121 patients with LDH who were treated at the First Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Medical University from March 2020 to March 2024 were selected and divided into the control group(n=61,receiving routine rehabilitation program)and the observation group(n=61,receiving personalized rehabilitation program under smart medical mode)using the random number table method.The lumbar function,lumbar activity function,biomechanical properties of lumbar and back muscles,pain levels and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results:Compared with that before intervention,both groups showed increased Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)scores and decreased Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)after intervention,while the observation group had higher JOA scores and lower ODI scores than the control group(P<0.05).Compared with that before intervention,lumbar extension of the lumbar spine,forward flexion,left flexion,right flexion range of motion,lumbar erector spinae muscle thickness,multifidus muscle thickness and peak moment were improved in the two groups after intervention,and the above indicators were better in observation group than the control group(P<0.05).Numeric Rating Scale(NRS)scores decreased at 7 days,14 days,1 month,and 3 months after surgery in both groups,while the observation group had lower NRS scores than those in the control group(P<0.05).The complication rate in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with the conventional rehabilitation method,the personalized rehabilitation program under the smart medical mode has significant advantages in promoting functional recovery,controlling pain,and reducing postoperative complications in elderly LDH patients,which is a more scientific and effective rehabilitation approach.关键词
