Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of flipping fixation of the fascial flap carrying the lateral wall of the cu-bital canal and anterior transposition of ulnar nerve for treatment of cubital tunnel syndrome.Methods The 41 pa-tients with moderate-severe cubital tunnel syndrome were treated with flipping fixation of the fascial flap carrying the lateral wall of the cubital canal and anterior transposition of ulnar nerve.The symptom relief was recorded,and the therapeutic effect was evaluated by the functional evaluation criteria of Gu Yu-dong's cubital tunnel syndrome.Results All patients were followed up for 7～18 months.Twenty-six cases of fingers numbness of the ulnar side began to re-lieve at the next day after surgery,8 cases began to relieve at 4 weeks after surgery,5 cases began to relieve at 8 weeks after surgery,and 2 cases had no significant improvement at one year after surgery.At the last follow-up,15 cases of muscular atrophy had returned to normal,24 cases had partially recovered,and 2 cases had no obvious recovery.The claw-shaped hand deformity was all not aggravated,and of which 11 cases were relieved obviously.According to the functional evaluation criteria of Gu Yu-dong's cubital tunnel syndrome,28 cases were excellent,8 cases were good,5 cases fair,and the excellent-good rate was87.8%.Conclusions Flipping fixation of the fascial flap carrying the lateral wall of the cubital canal and anterior transposition of ulnar nerve are used to treat the cubital tunnel syndrome,the operation is simple and fast,the reconstructed tunnel is soft and tension-free,which can effectively reduce nerve adhesion and backward slippage,is benefit of nerve functional recovery,and the effect is satisfactory.关键词
