摘要

Abstract

In order to expand the flame stabilization scope of trapped vortex combustor(TVC),the paper studies the effect of a new ejection swirler on the performance of swirl trapped vortex combustor.The radial ejection slot is installed at the outlet of the swirler to enhance the mass transfer between the primary combustion stage and main combustion stage.The numerical simulation resuts show that the radial V-shaped ejection slot has an effect on high temperature gas division for primary combustion stage,and the unique structure of the ejection swirler is conducive to the mixing of oil gas of main combustion stage and high temperature gas of primary combustion.When only primary combustion stage is supplied with oil,the evident high temperature zone of rear ejection swirler can significantly improve the flame stabilization,which indicates that the ejection TVC has even better combustion features in different working conditions.At low speed flow intake,compared with conventional TVC,the efficiency is increased by 21.81%,and the high speed air intake efficiency is increased by 11.89%.
