Analysis of the Role and Mechanisms of New Quality Productive Forces in the Upgrading and Spatial Layout Optimization of the Urban Construction Industry

Abstract
This paper focuses on new quality productive forces,examining their role and mechanisms in the digitalization,intelligentization,and green low-carbon transformation of the urban construction industry.Firstly,it reviews the driving role of new quality productive forces in urban construction development in the context of technological revolutions and industrial transformation.Then,by analyzing the spatiotemporal evolution characteristics of new quality productive forces in different provinces of China,as well as regional technological agglomeration and collaborative innovation,the study reveals their significant impact on industrial upgrading and spatial layout optimization in the construction sector.Additionally,from multiple dimensions—such as the upgrading of production factors,the promotion of intelligent manufacturing and prefabricated buildings,green low-carbon development,digital twin applications,and whole lifecycle management—the paper elucidates the mechanisms by which new quality productive forces facilitate the transformation and upgrading of design,construction,and operation&maintenance processes in the industry.Finally,the paper puts forward strategic recommendations,including strengthening investment in technological innovation,improving policy support systems,and promoting cross-regional collaborative development,in order to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the high-quality development of the urban construction industry.关键词
