Research on Optimization Strategies for Historic Districts from the Perspective of Spatial Structure Enhancement:A Case Study of Damiaoshan Lane and Shuili Lane in Fuzhou's Shangxiahang Historic and Cultural District

Abstract
This study focuses on the spatial structural characteristics and optimization strategies of the Shangxiahang Historic and Cultural District in Fuzhou.It explores the concept of spatial structure and its applicability in historical districts,emphasizing the importance of preserving historical memory through spatial structure in architectural renewal.By analyzing the spatial structural features of Damiaoshan Lane and Shuili Lane in Shangxiahang,the study reveals that the street layout retains historical continuity,while building typologies and functions have undergone significant transformations over time and space.A series of optimization strategies are proposed,including principles such as respecting historical context,small-scale incremental development,and human-centered street space preservation,as well as specific measures like appropriate urban openness,functional optimization of old urban areas,continuity of spatial order,and regeneration of spatial places.The study underscores the need to achieve sustainable development of the district while safeguarding its historical legacy,offering theoretical and practical insights for urban renewal.关键词
