Abstract
Understanding the city image is essential for effective tourism planning and branding.This study employs the Landscape Image Sketching Technique(LIST),a qualitative drawing-based research method,to analyze how residents of Changde,Hunan,perceive the image of"Charming Changde".The LIST facilitates the expression of respondents'spatial perceptions and emotional experiences through a representative landscape sketch,presenting a novel and practical method for tourism image research.The findings reveal that residents perceive"Charming Changde"as a city with lush greenery,interconnected waterways,a relaxed pace of life,and a rich historic and cultural heritage.Building on these strengths,Changde can leverage its ecological tourism,water culture,"slow living"atmosphere,and historical charm to develop a more competitive city tourism brand.关键词
