Abstract
Objective To compare the effect of bridging combined internal fixation system and locking compression plate in the treatment of clavicular midshaft fractures. Methods The 80 patients with clavicular midshaft fractures were divided into an observation group(treated with bridging combined internal fixation system,40 cases)and a con-trol group(treated with locking compression plate,40 cases)according to different treatment methods. The surgical time, incision length, intraoperative bleeding, fracture healing time, and the shoulder activity, incidence of postopera-tive complications were recorded. The Constant scale was used to evaluate shoulder joint function at the last follow-up.Results All patients were followed up for 8~16 months. The observation group had shorter(less)surgical time and intraoperative bleeding, compared to the control group(P<0.05).There were no statistical differences in incision length, fracture healing time between two groups(P>0.05).The shoulder joint range of motion:Two months after surgery, the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05),and there was no statistical differ-ence between the two groups at the last follow-up(P>0.05).There were no postoperative complications such as non-union,fracture of internal fixation and refracture in the two groups, except for the limited abductive function of shoul-der joint in 1 case in the observation group and subacromial impingement syndrome in 1 case in the control group. Conclusions Both the bridging combined internal fixation system and the locking compression plate can achieve sat-isfactory clinical efficacy in the treatment of clavicular midshaft fractures. However, the bridging combined internal fixation system can significantly shorten surgical time, reduce intraoperative bleeding, facilitate the early recovery of shoulder joint function.关键词
