Abstract
In rural distribution networks,uneven distribution of low-voltage loads can bring about significant amplitude and phase deviations among the three-phase currents,seriously affecting the safety,stability,and economic performance of the system.If load reallocation is not performed in a timely manner,issues such as low voltage,increased line losses,and elevated risk of equipment failure may arise.Therefore,accurately,efficiently,and safely mitigating three-phase load imbalance in rural distribution networks is an urgent issue.Traditional optimization methods,such as reactive power compensation,often incur high costs and may introduce harmonic distortion.This paper analyzes the adverse impacts of three-phase imbalance-focusing on power loss,operational efficiency,and equipment safety in lines and transformers and proposes an optimization approach based on automatic phase switching.A novel automatic phase switching device is developed,which dynamically reallocates loads based on real-time low-voltage calculations,thereby ensuring long-term stable and efficient operation of low-voltage distribution substations.Simulation and field test results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed solution in improving transformer utilization and enhancing power quality in rural low-vol-tage distribution networks.关键词
