Impact of the Development of Digital Finance on the Formation of Zombie Enterprises in China
摘要
Abstract
Against the backdrop of difficulties faced by the real economy,it is of great significance to make an in-depth study on the formation of zombie enterprises.Based on the data of those listed companies from 2015 to 2020,this paper explores the impact of the development of digital finance on the formation of zombie enterprises with the FN-CHK method.The findings show that the moderate development of digital finance can in-hibit the formation of zombie enterprises while its excessive growth will promote their for-mation.Specifically,with fiercer competition on the product market,digital finance will accelerate the inhibition of the formation of zombie enterprises in the stage of moderate de-velopment,whereas it will speed up their formation in the stage of excessive growth.Based on the conclusions,it provides policy references for the government and enterprises on how to identify and address zombie enterprises.关键词
