iRoot BP Plus根尖屏障术无额外水分的临床疗效分析
Efficacy analysis of iRoot BP Plus in apical barrier surgery without extra moisture

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the clinical effect of iRoot BP Plus in apical barrier surgery without extra mois-ture,and to investigate the impact of preoperative and intraoperative factors on treatment outcomes.Methods:Totally 72 teeth accepted apical barrier therapy with iRoot BP Plus(June 2021～August 2024)were categorized into two groups based on in-terim-cavity management:single-visit group(n=35,complete obturation without interim sealing)and two-visit group(n=37,interim sealing with moist cotton pellets).Success rates were assessed through clinical examinations and radiographic evalua-tions.To investigate the success rates of the two groups and explore the preoperative factors of whether there is periapical pe-riodontitis and the size of the inflammation,and intraoperative factor of whether the material is overfilled on the efficacy of ap-ical barrier surgery.Results:At an average 1-year follow-up,success rates were 91.4％(single-visit)and 97.3％(two-visit),demonstrating no statistically significant intergroup difference(P＞0.05).The short-term success rates were not significantly correlated with the preoperative periapical periodontitis status and intraoperative material overextension(P＞0.05).Conclu-sion:iRoot BP Plus applied in apical barrier surgery without additional moisture has reliable therapeutic effects.Under strict infection control and effective coronal sealing,neither preexisting periapical inflammation nor limited material overextension significantly compromises short-term treatment outcomes.关键词
