摘要

Abstract

Deep utilization of water resources has always been the theme of agricultural development in arid and water-scarce areas.How to use limited water resources more effectively while protecting the ecology is a topic that needs us to continuously explore in production applications and engineering construction.Minqin County,located in the northeastern part of the Hexi Corridor,is one of the most arid areas in China and a typical representative agricultural irrigation area with agriculture as the main industry.The main irrigation sources in the county are motorized wells and Hongya Mountain Reservoir.Due to the high degree of desertification around the region and serious groundwater over-extraction,it is one of the important tasks in agricultural development to fully utilize water resources to maintain basic agricultural production while gradually achieving the goal of reducing groundwater extraction and ecological protection.In this paper,we will analyze the feasibility of using deep water saving measures to fully utilize surface water resources and gradually replace groundwater by studying the deep utilization of the seepage water behind the reservoir dam,in the hope of providing ideas and references for the utilization of water resources in similar arid and water-scarce areas.
