摘要

Abstract

Oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC)is a common malignant tumor in the head and neck region.China also has a high incidence of this disease.OSCC is often diagnosed at advanced stages,leading to poor overall prognosis and sig-nificantly impacting patients' quality of life.Enhancing early detection of OSCC can substantially improve patients' progno-sis and quality of life.In recent years,artificial intelligence has made remarkable advancements in various medical fields due to the progress in computer technology and the establishment of extensive databases.By enhancing diagnostic accuracy and efficiency,artificial intelligence enables personalized prevention and treatment programs for patients.This article reviews the research progress of artificial intelligence in early screening and diagnosis of OSCC,discusses limitations and shortcomings associated with its application in diagnosing and treating this condition,as well as proposes future research trajectories.
