Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of integrating online education platforms with the Proj-ect-Based Learning(PBL)method in the clinical appren-ticeship of spinal surgery.Methods 151 five-year under-graduate students of clinical medicine who were on clinical apprenticeship in the spinal surgery department of the Affil-iated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from October to December 2023 were selected.The students were ran-domly divided into two groups using simple random sam-pling method:the experimental group(76 students)and the control group(75 students).The experimental group was taught using the PBL teaching model based on the on-line platform,while the control group was taught using the traditional clinical apprenticeship teaching method.The differences in theoretical examination scores and feedback from course questionnaires between the two groups were compared.Results In the theoretical examination scores,al-though there was no significant difference in the basic knowledge scores between the two groups,but the case analysis and clinical thinking scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group.The feedback from the experimental group students on learning interest,clinical practicality,knowledge mas-tery,and teaching satisfaction were significantly better than those of the control group.Conclusion The PBL model based on the online platform can significantly improve the teaching effect of clinical apprenticeship,which is worth promoting and applying.关键词
