Abstract
[Research purpose]The new version of the"Catalogue of Disciplines and Majors for Graduate Education"has changed the first-level discipline of"library intelligence and archives management"to"information resource management",so that the term"intelli-gence"no longer refers to"information"but correctly refers to"intelligence"in the context of discipline setting and academic research.The"intelligence science"with intelligence as its research object has returned to the true position of intelligence research,but it is no lon-ger listed as a first-level discipline.In this regard,the purpose of this paper is to clarify the disciplinary positioning of"intelligence",es-pecially in the new context of the establishment of the first-level discipline of national security,to clarify the hierarchical relationship be-tween the two disciplines,and on this basis to respond to the question of whether to name it as"intelligence"or"national security intelli-gence".[Research method]Taking the holistic view of national security as the guiding ideology and regarding National Intelligence Law,National Security Law,Counter-espionage Law and Anti-Terrorism Law as legal basis,with reference to relevant domestic and for-eign theories and practices,the research is carried out by comprehensively using interdisciplinary methods,literature analysis,empirical re-search,comparative research and other methods.[Research result/conclusion]Given that the essential attributes and ultimate goal of in-telligence work are to serve national security and development,at this stage,intelligence should be established as a second-level discipline under national security;in the future,under the guiding principle of the overall national security concept emphasizing the"overall"securi-ty concept,national security should be upgraded to a comprehensive academic discipline and intelligence should be established as its first-level discipline.In terms of the name of the"intelligence science",in order to implement the holistic view of national security,which em-phasizes the guiding ideology of security and development,to follow the relevant provisions of China's legislation,to correspond to the sit-uation of China's existing intelligence agencies,to follow the historical development of China's intelligence discipline,and to take into ac-count the relevant situation abroad,it should be named"intelligence science"rather than"national security intelligence science".关键词
