Multi-functional Paper-based Electrode and Their Application for Triboelectric Nanogenerator and Joule Heating

Abstract
In this article,the porous paper-based material(CMPP)is prepared based on the wood fibers.Then,highly conductive paper-based electrode(CMPE)is fabricated by impregnation and in-situ polymerization,and their application in triboelectric nanogenerators(TENG)and Joule heating are also investigated.The obtained CMPE exhibits higher electrical conductivity compared with the traditional paper-based electrodes.In addition,the TENGs assembled with CMPP and CMPE possess excellent electrical output performance.The output voltage reached 180 V at the frequency of 5 Hz and the power density achieved a maximum value of 3.65 W/m2 with the resistance of 2.0 MΩ.The surface temperature of CMPE can reach 140 ℃ under a voltage of 5 V with the Joule effect.At the same time,the surface temperature of the CMPE electrode gradually rises with the increased voltage.And the surface temperature could remain stable for 120 minutes under a voltage of 4 V.Therefore,the CMPE electrodes show great potential in the construction of energy storage systems and thermal management devices.关键词
