摘要

Abstract

In the construction of hydropower projects,deep overburden layers,especially weak layers such as silt clay,are often distributed on both banks and the riverbed of large rivers,they have low bearing capacity,high compressibility and low shear strength,they have a significant impact on the stability of the site and founda-tion.Due to the large slag yard of soil sample test parameters,it is rather difficult to obtain the correct param-eters.For a large slag yard with a deep overburden layer in the Jinsha River,based on field investigation and exploration,starting from the analysis of geological formation,and combining indoor experiments,in-situ tests,field direct shear tests and engineering analogies,the physical and mechanical parameters of the overburden lay-er are comprehensively proposed,providing basic data for the stability analysis and design of large slag yard,and offering a reference for the selection of parameters in similar projects.
