Abstract
The Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence share a high degree of compatibility with the"ASEAN Way",which emphasizes consensus-building and accommodating each other's comfort levels.Under the guidance of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence,China-ASEAN relations have achieved a historic leap:transitioning from the easing of tensions to the establishment of dialogue relations,the development of strategic partnerships,and ultimately the eleva-tion to a comprehensive strategic partnership.These principles have become the most fundamental political foundation of China-ASEAN cooperation.In the new era,the scope and implications of the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence have continued to expand,playing a pivotal role in the development of China-ASEAN relations.关键词
