Corrosion characteristics of CFRP reinforced pile foundation in tidal zone of marine environment

Abstract
By building an indoor marine environment simulation system,the unprotected piles and protected piles in the tidal zone were tested for chloride erosion,and then based on the results of the indoor physical tests,a three-dimensional numerical model was built using COMSOL software to carry out a numerical simulation simulation study,to investigate the distribution of chloride ions in the corrosion process of the pile foundations in terms of the distribution of chloride ions,corrosion current density,corrosion potential,and the distribution of the corrosion situation.It is found that CFRP can significantly reduce the content of chloride ions inside the pile foundation,delay the onset of corrosion,weaken the inhomogeneous corrosion,reduce the current density,slow down the rate of decline in corrosion potential,reduce the depth of corrosion,and then extend the service life of the pile foundation.关键词
