Abstract

The floating transportation technology of immersed tunnel elements under complex marine conditions is investigated through the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link Project,with a focus on ensuring safety and efficiency under challenges of strong currents and climatic variability.A comprehensive risk analysis is conducted by adopting the sinking-floating construction method and the LEC(Likelihood,Exposure,Consequence)technique,while advanced technologies including GPS-RTK and inertial navigation system(INS)are integrated to achieve precise positioning and real-time monitoring.The stability and safety of operations are enhanced through optimized tugboat formation design.Results indicate that high-precision monitoring systems significantly improve positioning accuracy,ensuring tunnel elements reach predetermined targets with minimal deviation.High-risk sources are controlled via LEC-based risk assessment,with proactive safeguards established for operational continuity.By combining technical optimization,risk management,and real-time monitoring,the safety,precision,and efficiency of immersed tunnel transportation are improved,providing critical technical references for future large-scale marine engineering projects.
