近60年河北省秋季不同强度降水频数特征
Characteristics of Precipitation Frequency in Autumn in Hebei Province over Last Six Decades

Abstract
Understanding precipitation variability in autumn is critical for ensuring food production security.Based on the daily precipitation data of 71 meteorological observation stations in Hebei Province from 1960 to 2022 and the NCEP/NCAR reanalysis data,the temporal and spatial variation characteristics of the precipitation frequency,covering severe to heavy rain,and moderate to light rain,in autumn in Hebei Province were analyzed,with influence factors explored through regression analysis and composite analysis.The results showed that:(1)In the past 63 years,the frequency of severe to heavy rain in autumn in Hebei Province showed an increase trend,while the frequency of moderate to light rain showed a trend of decrease.In terms of spatial distribution,heavy to rain frequently occurred in the south and some coastal areas of Hebei Province,and moderate to light rain frequently occurred in the west and north of Hebei Province.(2)When the preceding summer presented a weak La Niña distribution pattern,the 500 hPa geopotential height field presented a"-+-+"dipole pattern at mid-high latitudes.When strong ascending motion appeared near 40°N and twin anticyclonic anomalies meridionally occurred along 120°E,the frequency of heavy rain(≥25 mm/day)increased in Hebei Province during autumn.Conversely,when a strong La Niña event occurred,the western Pacific subtropical was high(WPSH),the high-pressure system occurred north of Lake Baikal,and the East Asian trough was weaker than in the weak La Niña case,while the low-pressure system over the Balkhash Lake region intensified,ascending motions near 40°N weaken,and the anticyclonic circulation over the South China Sea strengthened.These conditions favored an increase in the frequency of light-to-moderate rainfall(<25 mm/day)in Hebei Province during autumn.关键词
