Abstract
Based on L-band high-altitude wind data of Xichang Meteorological Station from 2005 to 2021,the characteristics of wind direction and speed in the atmospheric boundary layer from the ground to 2000 meters at 50 meter intervals were statistically analyzed in the morning and evening,as well as their variations with height and in different seasons.The results showed that:(1)The frequency of calm wind was high at the altitude below 150 meters;in the morning,the wind direction was evenly distributed in all directions,while in the evening,the southerly wind prevailed.(2)At the altitude of 200 to 300 meters,there was little difference in the frequency of wind directions in the morning,while the southerly wind was the dominant wind direction in the evening.(3)In the middle and upper boundary layer,the most prevalent wind direction was southerly,which was consistent with the characteristics of the atmospheric circulation.(4)The wind speed profile in the boundary layer increased with height,following a power exponent law,and the wind speeds were greater in the evening than those in the morning.(5)In the morning,wind speed increased most rapidly with height.At the same altitude,the wind speed was the highest in winter,the lowest in summer,and the wind speed in autumn and spring was close to the annual average.In the morning,the wind speed increased most rapidly with height during winter.At the same height,the wind speed was the greatest in winter,the smallest in summer,and similar to the annual average in autumn and spring.In the evening,below the altitude of 400 meters,the wind speed increased most rapidly and was the greatest in spring,and was the second in winter.Above the altitude of 400 meters,the wind speed increased most rapidly in winter,was the greatest in spring and was second in the spring,and was the smallest in summer.Above the altitude of 1500 meters,in autumn and spring,regardless of morning or evening,the wind speed showed a relatively close trend to the annual average,and the change of wind speed with height was not obvious.关键词
