Abstract
As a critical ecological conservation zone in the upper reach of the Yangtze River,the Anning River Basin has strategic significance in heavy metal contamination characteristics for regional ecological security and water quality assurance in the middle-lower reaches of the Yangtze River.In this study,a systematic investigation was conducted on spatiotemporal distribution patterns of Cr,Ni,Cu,Zn,Cd,and Pb within the water phase-suspended matter-sediment system.A multidimensional assessment was carried out by integrating the Nemerow composite index,enrichment factor(EF),and potential ecological risk index(RI).Key findings included:(1)Sediments serve as the main mediums for heavy metals,with concentrations(Pb:21.78~2321.57 mg/kg)significantly greater than those in aqueous phases(Pb:0~348.23 g/L)and suspended particulates(Pb:0.37~658.69 g/L).The highest concentration of heavy metals at the surrounding locations in the mining areas of the middle and lower reaches was 75.13 times that of the background value(Pb).(2)Distinct spatiotemporal difference(P<0.05)was observed,with heavy metal fluxes in sediments increased by 18.7%~35.4 in rainy seasons compared to dry seasons;spatial distribution demonstrated gradient patterns driven by industrial-mining activities where S3 and S4 monitoring points accounted for 52.3%of the total pollution load of the whole basin.(3)Ecological risk assessment identified Cd(EF:2.44~20.22)and Pb(EF:2.21~35.07)as priority control pollutants.The comprehensive potential ecological risk index values(RI:131.54~2038.34)revealed that mid-lower reaches were experiencing"severe to extreme"risks,necessitating source-specific mitigation strategies.关键词
