Abstract
In view of the increasing intensity from river and land use,as well as the unfavorable status of the overall water environment,in order to correctly evaluate the current situation of pathogenic microorganism pollution in rivers,the Diao River in Nanyang City was taken as a case study in this paper,and the distribution characteristics of fecal coliform and the physical and chemical indicators in the river section in 2023 were analyzed.Moreover,based on the monitoring data of surface water quality from 2019 to 2023,the correlations between fecal coliform and 17 environmental indicators in Environmental Quality Standards for Surface Water(GB3838-2002)were studied.The results showed that the annual average of fecal coliform and total nitrogen in the studied river section met or was inferior to the Class Ⅴ criteria,indicating the most severe pollution.The correlation analysis showed that there was a significant negative correlation between fecal coliform and dissolved oxygen in the studied river section;there were significant positive correlations between fecal coliform and total phosphorus,water temperature,chemical oxygen demand,biochemical oxygen demand.The order of correlation from high to low was dissolved oxygen,total phosphorus,water temperature,chemical oxygen demand,and biochemical oxygen demand.This study provides reference for the prevention and control of pathogenic microbial pollution in rivers.关键词
