四川小金四姑娘山国家级自然保护区绿尾虹雉种群数量与生境适宜性评估
Evaluation on Population Size and Habitat Suitability of Lophophorus Lhuysii in Qiongguanyin Mountain National Nature Reserve in Sichuan Province

Abstract
Lophophorus lhuysii is a unique,rare and endangered species in high altitude areas in southwestern China.The investigation of its population size and the distribution of suitable habitats creates a basis for effective conservation of species and making management strategies.In order to estimate the population size and suitable habitat of Lophophorus lhuysii in the MT.Siguniang National Nature Reserve,a survey on the spatial distribution of the population size and habitat of Lophophorus lhuysii by using the line transect method was conducted from September to December in 2022 and 2023.The software Distance and the MaxEnt model were combined to estimate and predict the population density and habitat of Lophophorus lhuysii.The results showed that the main habitat of the Lophophorus lhuysii within the surveyed area was the coniferous forest and its edge shrubbery at an altitude of 3900-4200 meters.The suitable habitat area for this spice in autumn and winter was 36.06 km2,and the semi-suitable habitat area is 22.62 km2.The estimated population density was(3.34±1.54)individuals/km2 and the total Lophophorus lhuysii population was(120.4±55.5)individuals by integrating with the area of suitable habitat.The prediction accuracy of MaxEnt model was relatively high,with an average AUC above 0.9.Isothermality,altitude,annual precipitation and vegetation type were the main factors determining the distribution of Lophophorus lhuysii.The study identified the key factors influencing the distribution of the Lophophorus lhuysii,estimated the population size,and provided a scientific basis for the rational formulation of protection strategies and management measures for the Lophophorus lhuysii.关键词
