Study on the Nonlinear Impact of New Quality Productive Forces on Tourism Economy:an Empirical Analysis Based on Threshold Model

Abstract
As an emerging high-quality productive force,new quality productive forces are bound to have a significant impact on tourism development.This paper utilizes panel data from 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2022 to measure the level of new quality productive forces.An empirical investigation is conducted using Hansen's non-dynamic panel threshold regression model to explore the nonlinear effects and mechanisms of the influence of new quality productive forces on tourism economy.The findings are as follows:①In terms of spatial characteristics,new quality productive forces exhibit a spatial pattern of"high in the southeast and low in the northwest".②There exists a threshold effect in the impact of new quality productive forces on tourism economy,with regional economy,transportation conditions,and resource endowment each playing a dual-threshold role.③The threshold effect of new quality productive forces on tourism economy displays spatial heterogeneity.In the eastern region,regional economy exhibits a single-threshold effect,while transportation conditions and resource endowments demonstrate a double-threshold effect.In the central region,transportation conditions show a double-threshold effect.In the western region,resource endowments present a single-threshold effect.In response to the influence mechanisms and regional heterogeneity characteristics of new quality productive forces on tourism economy,corresponding development recommendations are proposed from both national and local perspectives.关键词
