Abstract

In the context of the digital era,digital technology has become the core driving force for the high-quality development of the feed industry.Based on panel data from 30 provincial-level administrative units in China from 2013 to 2022,this article employs the generalized difference-in-difference method to empirically examine the impact and mechanism of digital technology on the high-quality development of the feed industry.The results show that the digital technology has a significant positive promoting effect on the high-quality development of the feed industry.Heterogeneity results indicate that digital technology has a stronger promoting effect on the high-quality development of the feed industry in the southeast of the Hu's line and areas with higher levels of agricultural modernization.The research shows that the digital technology can drive the high-quality development of the feed industry,and its industrial promotion effect is more pronounced in the southeast of the Hu's line and areas with higher levels of agricultural modernization.The article proposes policy recommendations that the operators of the feed industry should strengthen the research and application of digital technology,improve the talent introduction mechanism,and the financial institutions innovate digital financial services,in order to provide reference for promoting the high-quality development of the feed industry and accelerating the process of construction of strong agricultural country.
