Analysis on bending performance of prefabricated steel enclosing purlin splicing joints
摘要
Abstract
Prefabricated steel enclosing purlins,as innovative support components for foundation pit retaining walls,require thorough investigation of the bending performance of their splicing joints to inform practical engineering applications.With different splicing joint configurations,this study utilizes finite element software to perform numerical simulations on prefabricated steel enclosing purlin units under pure bending conditions.The results reveal that the splicing joints reduce the ultimate bending capacity of the specimens by 3.5%to 62.6%.Additionally,both H-section steel and connecting plate splicing joints exhibit semi-rigid behavior.Stress distribution at the splicing joints does not conform to the plane cross-section assumption.A method and formula for calculating deflection during the elastic deformation stage of splicing joint specimens under pure bending are proposed,and validated against finite element simulation data.This research provides a theoretical foundation for optimizing the design and application of prefabricated steel enclosing purlins in engineering projects.关键词
