基于CFD的单通道质子交换膜电解槽性能分析
Performance analysis of a single channel proton exchange membrane electrolyzer based on CFD

Abstract
The proton exchange membrane(PEM)electrolyer is a clean,pollution-free and promising technology for hydrogen production via water electrolysis.To enhance its electrochemical performance,a comprehensive three-dimensional,two-phase,non-isothermal heat and mass transfer model of the electrolyzer was developed.This study analyzes the impact of various operating parameters on the temperature safety and efficiency of the electrolyzer.The results indicate that increasing the inlet water flow rate and membrane thickness reduces the average temperature of anode catalyst layer by 1.40 K and 2.31 K,respectively,thereby enhancing the system's safety.However,these adjustments also lead to a decrease in the oxygen volume fraction on the anode side by 26.888%and 25.414%,and the reduction in the hydrogen volume fraction on the cathode side by 12.667%and 9.247%,respectively,which adversely affects the hydrogen and oxygen evolution processes in the electrolyzer.关键词
