Abstract
Polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose(HPMC)were used as substrates to modify Mg-Al layered dihydroxide(LDH)nanosheets with adipic acid(AA)to improve the barrier properties of HPMC/PVA composite films.Infrared spectrometer,X-ray diffractometer,contact angle tester,water vapor transmittance tester and other instruments were used to study the structure and properties of the composite film.The results showed that the contact angle of the layered dihydroxide(LDH@AA)composite film modified with adipic acid increased from 46.28° to 102.38°,and the water vapor transmittance of the composite film decreased from 655.72 g/(m2·24 h)to 162.08 g/(m2·24 h).The maximum tensile strength and elongation at break of the composite film were 41.73 MPa and 102.38%,respectively.The use of LDH@AA can effectively improve the mechanical properties and barrier properties of HPMC/PVA films,which is helpful to further expand its application range.关键词
