朱红膏对糖尿病足溃疡患者创面中NETs的影响
Effect of Zhuhong Ointment(朱红膏)on NETs in the wounds of diabetic foot ulcer patients

Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Zhuhong Ointment(朱红膏,ZHO)in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers(DFU)and its effect on neutrophil extracellular traps(NETs)in wound exudates.Methods 8 patients with DFU admitted to Beijing Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated to Capital Medical University from August 2021 to August 2022 were select-ed in the study.The wound granulation growth,pain scores,exudation,redness and swelling,and wound area scores were assessed at baseline(week 0),week 1,and week 2 after ZHO treatment.Levels of double-stranded DNA(dsDNA)in wound exudates were measured using the PicoGreen fluorescent dye method,while Citrullinated Histone 3(cit-H3)and myeloperoxidase(MPO)levels were detected via ELISA.Results After 1 and 2 weeks of treatment,pain scores were significantly reduced(P＜0.01).By week 2,wound granulation changed from pale to bright red,with a significant increase in granulation scores(P＜0.01).There were no statistically sig-nificant changes in exudates,redness and swelling,or wound area scores.The levels of dsDNA,cit-H3,and MPO in wound exudates were decreased significantly after treatment(P＜0.05).Conclusion ZHO promotes the formation of new granulation tissues,alleviates pain,and reduces NETs levels in DFU patients after 2 weeks of treatment.It effectively mitigates local inflammatory responses and facili-tates wound healing.关键词
