足尺方钢管混凝土套箱内部脱空检测方法研究
Research on Detection Methods for Internal Voids in Full-Scale Square Concrete-Filled Steel Tube Castings

Abstract
The internal compactness of concrete-filled steel tube(CFST)structures significantly affects their overall mechanical behavior.Therefore,detailed detection of CFST compactness is highly important.Using a connecting elevated bridge as the background,two full-scale test specimens of CFST castings were designed.Using the ultrasonic and impact-echo methods,the applicability of different methods in the test specimens was investigated,along with the variation patterns of voids affected by different heights,widths,and angles.The results showed that the nonmetallic ultrasonic testing method exhibited weak wave penetration and limited detection effectiveness when applied to large-scale specimens.The scanning impact-echo method proved effective in identifying the void between steel and concrete interface through comprehensive analysis of waveform shapes and peak distribution patterns in time-domain graphs,supplemented by frequency-domain verification.To verify test results,specimens were cut for internal observation,revealing good agreement between testing results and actual distribution of compacted zones.To enhance concrete compactness,it is recommended to increase both the number and diameter of pouring holes in the upper steel plate during the design of such structures,with additional pre-set holes at the four corners.During construction,particular attention should be given to maintaining precise vertical alignment between the upper steel cap beam and the lower pier,with intensified vibration procedures at the upper section and both sides during concrete pouring.关键词
