摘要

Abstract

The phase behavior of sulfobetaine amphoteric surfactants(SB3-n,n=12,14,16)in water was studied using methods such as dynamic light scattering,POM,rheological measurements,and SAXS.The structure and properties of aggregates in the SB3-n/water system were analyzed,and the effects of temperature,surfactant content,and solvent on the liquid crystal structure were studied.The experimental results indicate that in water solution,SB3-12 and SB3-14 with shorter alkyl chains can form the micellar phase,micellar cubic phase,and hexagonal phase.However,SB3-16 with longer alkyl chains can only form the micellar phase and hexagonal phase.As the alkyl chain length of SB3-n increases,both the size of the micelles and the lattice parameters of the hexagonal phase increase.In water with higher cohesive energy,SB3-n arranges more densely and exhibits a richer phase behavior.Additionally,the self-assembled hexagonal phase shows higher viscoelasticity.
