Abstract
This study analyzed the characteristics and hydrogenation reaction characteristics of low sulfur residue,identified the problems and difficulties in processing low sulfur residue in fixed-bed residue hydrotreating units,and proposed corresponding countermeasures.The experimental results show that low sulfur residue is more difficult to undergo hydrodenitrogenation and carbon residue precursor hydroconversion reactions.Besides,the fixed-bed residue hydrotreating unit for processing low sulfur residue has problems including low reactor temperature rise,residual carbon difficult to be removed from feeds,and unit operation fluctuations easy to be caused.The first problem can be improved by modifying the high-pressure heat exchanger,blending secondary feeds,and adjusting the catalyst loading.The second problem can be alleviated by adjusting catalyst grading and selecting catalysts with better adaptability.The last problem can be addressed by optimizing reactor temperature and controlling the amount of vacuum residue added.关键词
