Innovative Practical Teaching Empowers Cultivating Talents Majoring in Water Supply and Drainage Science and Engineering From Explorations and Achievements of Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology

Abstract
Water supply and drainage science and engineering major at Xi'an University of Architecture and Tech-nology is taken as an example in this paper.In response to the existing problems in current practical teaching,a se-ries of innovative measures are elaborated in detail,including the introduction of virtual simulation modules in the design stage,the application of digital twin technology in the experimental stage,the expansion of graduation pro-ject content,and the problem-oriented internship model.These innovations aim to enhance the students'practical ability,innovative thinking,and comprehensive application ability of professional knowledge,explore new paths for the cultivation of talents in the water supply and drainage major,and provide references for the practical teaching reform of related majors as well.Through the analysis of specific production internship cases,the effectiveness and improvement of the innovative practical teaching mode are verified,providing an empirical basis for optimizing the professional talent cultivation mode.At the same time,the engineering accreditation concept of"student-centered,outcome-oriented,and continuous improvement"is reflected by the reform achievements,which is of great signifi-cance for promoting the development of engineering education.关键词
