Abstract
With rapid development of the urban construction,the number of urban hidden culverts has increased substantially,which has caused increasingly severe environmental impacts and safety risks.The culverts frequently exhibit structural and functional deficiencies particularly in old areas,including narrow inspection panel and chaot-ic sewage systems,which severely affect both traffic safety and water quality.Taking the A-enclosure hidden culvert comprehensive remediation project in Shunde District,Foshan City as an example,a systematic,phased mainte-nance approach is proposed,employing quality verification(QV)or closed circuit television verification(CCTV)technology to assess sediment accumulation and structural defects;A combined robotic and manual hydraulic flush-ing method is applied to remove sediment;The partial expanding or augmenting are applied in the inspection panel and the discharge outlets are optimized to enable sewage separation;The hidden culverts are uncovered in river sec-tions that can restore the ecosystem;Other pipelines occupying the flood discharge area are relocated or removed.These measures can not only solve the black and odorous problems of the culverts,but also lay a robust foundation for the development of resilient urban construction,providing valuable design strategies and practical insights for similar projects in other cities.关键词
