摘要

Abstract

The genera Chondrus and Mazzzaella both belong to Gigartinaceae,and have close evolutionary relationship and simi-lar morphological characteristics.In this study,morphological observation and phylogenetic analysis based on rbcL sequence were used to classify and identify the two genera of samples collected from Zhangzi Island,Liaoning,China.The morphological results showed that the shape structure of several samples was close and not easy to distinguish.The results of the phylogenetic anal-ysis based on the rbcL sequence showed that Sample 20180809008 was clustered with Mazzaella japoncia with high bootstrap support values(NJ=96,ML=97,MP=96).The similarity between the sequences was 99.47%,and the base genetic distance was 0,that is,the sample was more closely related to Mazzaella japonica.Sample 20180809035 and sample 20180809035B were clustered with Chondrus nipponicus Yendo with high bootstrap support values(NJ=96,ML=97,MP=95).The similarity between the sequences was 99.41%,and the base genetic distance was 0,that is,the two samples were more closely related to Chondrus nipponicus Yendo.Overall,the samples were identified as Mazzaella japonica and Chondrus nipponicus Yendo,respectively.
