Abstract
Objective:To explore the application value of CT and MRI in the diagnosis of severe viral encephalitis in children.Methods:46 children with suspected severe viral encephalitis admitted to Hunan Provincial People's Hospi-tal from March 2021 to September 2024 were examined by CT and MRI,and the diagnostic efficacy of CT and MRI for viral encephalitis was compared with the results of etiological examination of cerebrospinal fluid as the gold standard.Results:Of the 46 children,34 were diagnosed as severe viral encephalitis.Compared with CT,MRI has higher sensitivity、specificity and accuracy in diagnosing severe viral encephalitis,P<0.05.Conclusion:The diagnos-tic accuracy of MRI in children with severe viral encephalitis is higher,which can provide more accurate reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.关键词
