Research on Operation of Urban(Suburban)Trains Using Existing Railways in Northwest China
摘要
Abstract
To fully utilize the existing railway resources and promote economic development in Northwest China,a systematic study was conducted on the operation of urban(suburban)trains using existing railways in Northwest China.First,current operation of urban(suburban)trains on existing railways in this region was analyzed,and practical experiences and existing challenges were summarized.Then,functional positioning and technical conditions for operating urban(suburban)trains on existing railways were studied.By integrating the distribution of railway resources and urban(suburban)demand in Northwest China,this study proposed a layout framework for operating urban(suburban)trains on existing railways in this region,thus developing a layout plan including 17 projects.Finally,this study provided targeted policy recommendations for the government,National Railway Administration and China National Railway Group Co.,Ltd.,and urban(suburban)transport companies.Future research should focus on analyzing the plan's feasibility from the aspects of project economic benefits,financing mechanisms,and debt risk mitigation.关键词
