Effect of Vascular Interventional Embolization on Neurological Function And Prognosis of Patients with Intracranial Aneurysm

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of interventional embolization on neurological function and prognosis of patients with intracranial aneurysm(IA).Methods:One hundred and twenty patients with IA were selected from the Department of Neurosurgery of Zhangye People's Hospital affiliated to Hexi University from January 2022 to January 2024,and divided into two groups according to the different surgical methods.Among them,59 cases were treated by craniotomy under microscope,and 61 cases were treated by vascular interventional embolization,which was the interventional group.The overall clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared.Results:The amount of intraoperative bleeding in interventional group was less than that in craniotomy group,and the operation time and average hospitalization time were shorter than those in craniotomy group,P<0.05.At 24 h after operation,the NIHSS scores in both groups were lower than those before operation,but the comparison between the two groups was,P>0.05.On the 7th day after operation,the NIHSS scores in both groups were lower than those before opera-tion and 24 h after operation,and the scores in the interventional group were lower than those in the craniotomy group,P<0.05.The incidence of complications in interventional group was lower than that in craniotomy group,and the good prognosis rate was higher than that in craniotomy group,P<0.05.Conclusion:Compared with micro-surgery for IA,interventional embolization has the advantages of shorter operation time and less intraoperative bleeding,and can significantly reduce the incidence of postoperative complications,accelerate the recovery of neuro-logical function and improve the prognosis.关键词
