Abstract

Accurate energy prediction of multi-source complementary microgrid is helpful for power grid enterprises and users to make reasonable power plan.To improve the accuracy of wind and PV forecasts,an improved fruit fly optimization algorithm(MFOA)is used to optimize kernel extreme learning machine(KELM)for energy prediction of multi-source complementary microgrids.In order to improve the convergence accuracy of the FOA algorithm and avoid local optima,the method of weight update and distance expansion is used to improve the fruit fly optimization algorithm(FOA).Standard test functions are select-ed to simulate and compare the MFOA algorithm,and the results verify that the proposed algorithm can improve the conver-gence accuracy and convergence speed of FOA.The regularization coefficient C and kernel function parameters of traditional KELM are optimized by the improved MFOA to improve the prediction accuracy of KELM.The prediction accuracy of MFOA-KELM is compared with UCI data,and the results verify the feasibility of the scheme.A prediction model of multi-source com-plementary microgrid based on improved MFOA-KELM is established,and compared with PSO-KELM and KELM.The simu-lation results verify that the proposed algorithm has the minimum prediction error.
